About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy Tirana of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit proposals for funding under the Meet the Corner program. This program will reach out to small, remote schools on the outskirts of the cities with American Corners (Tirana, Vlora, Kukes), focusing on communities with limited access to physical Corners or where financial and other constraints hinder young people visiting, increasing the Corners’ for outreach. Fully equipped with various resources and programs typically available only at the Corners, "Meet the Corner" will introduce Corner flagship programs in countering disinformation and STEM to new audiences. Emphasizing the Corners’ core values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), this initiative is focused on reaching out to underserved communities and marginalized groups that would otherwise find it difficult to join American Corner events because of physical or geographic limitations. "Meet the Corner" program will reach at least five schools per city in suburban areas, offering Corner STEM and Countering Disinformation programs while engaging students in English conversation and critical thinking. Based on the American Spaces toolkits, the curriculum will be interactive, incorporating debates and activities beyond conventional learning methods, as well as American games, sports, collaboration with DOS alumni engagement as mentors for CDI and STEM.
Who can apply
ELIGILIBITY INFORMATION 1. Eligible Applicants • Albanian not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations (NGOs) • U.S. organizations and individuals are NOT eligible for grants under the program. • Cost Sharing or Matching is not required and is not part of the evaluation criteria. However, the applicants are encouraged to explore the possibility of the cost-share whenever possible. 2. Other Eligibility Requirements • In order to be eligible to receive an award, all organizations must have a valid registration on www.SAM.gov. • Applicants are only allowed to submit one proposal per organization. If more than one proposal is submitted from an organization, all proposals from that institution will be considered ineligible for funding.

This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications from eligible entities to deliver Brownfields Job Training programs that recruit, train, and place local, unemployed, and underemployed residents with the skills needed to secure full-time employment in the environmental field. Brownfields Job Training Grants fund training programs that strengthen local workforces by preparing program graduates for environmental jobs that support cleanup and revitalization efforts in their own communities. Training may include a range of brownfield-related environmental skills such as the assessment and cleanup of solid and hazardous waste; chemical risk management; stormwater management relating to site cleanup; planning and site preparation for low-impact development activities; site preparation for green infrastructure installation; and vulnerability assessment and contamination mitigation planning. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Alzheimer’s Research Program (AZRP) Transforming Research Award (TrRA) supports non-incremental, robust, well-designed research that drives transformative advancements in reducing risk and preventing the development of Alzheimer’s disease and/or Alzheimer's disease related dementias (AD/ADRD). Distinctive Features: • Applications must address at least one of the following focus areas: ○ Risk Factor Knowledge: Research that advances understanding, identification, and/or validation of risk and/or protective factors, with research outcomes/products focused on accelerating solutions. BJA FY 2026 Local Law Enforcement Crime Gun Intelligence Center Integration Initiative

BJA FY 2026 Second Chance Act Family-Based Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the BJA FY 2026 Second Chance Act Family-Based Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. This opportunity will provide treatment and recovery support services to parents with substance use disorders (SUD) who have minor children or are pregnant and are under correctional control in a facility or community-based setting. State, local, and tribal governments and nonprofit organizations may apply for funding to provide family-based SUD treatment programs in jail, in prison, or as part of an alternative to incarceration to reduce recidivism and improve reentry and other related outcomes for the parent and for their children. State, local, and tribal governments must apply for funding under Category 1 and nonprofit organizations and faith-based organizations must apply for funding under Category 2.
